Touchstone | wearable pendant
Touchstone was a revolutionary approach to geriatric wearable technology. The concept was done in collaboration with Wysa, which was still a young start-up at the time.
Touchstone is a Bluetooth transmitter, presented as a small jewellery pendant. It is designed for senior citizens who need a simple and intuitive way of keeping track of their routine and letting their loved ones know if they are well or not.
A very important thing during the design process was to make sure the Touchkin users didn’t feel self conscious about needing a heper device. Hence the emphasis on the jewelry-like appearance, and the different holders that allow it to switch between being a brooch, a necklace and a bracelet.
