Stretch

Stretch is the studio's signature chair, inspired by a painting canvas on a stand. When the chair is not in use, elastic ropes stretch out the canvas to be as tight as possible. Once a person sits on it, the canvas takes up the shape of its user, becoming a soft hammock chair.

The sides of the chair are made from bent plywood. The natural feel of the flexible wood and strong textile make this chair a homey addition for spaces with a lot of light and an organic atmosphere. It has the ergonomics of a lounge chair, making it a place to rest, wind down and reset. ⠀

Stretch is 130 cm tall and 80 cm wide. Its dominant size makes it a centerpiece of a room that has a lot of breathing space.⠀
