Column

Column is the award winning member of a small collection of lighting elements intended for hotels and high end residences. The whole collection is designed in a style that emphasizes the clean elegance of aluminium.

The ambiental floor lamp is made of concentric, extruded aluminium profiles with a gentle lightsource pointing upwards and a 15W LED panel lightsource pointing downwards, refracting and reflecting from the internal surfaces of the column and escaping through the square shaped openings.

Column is just above 1 meter tall. This atypical height gives a sense of accessibility to the otherwise cold material of the lamp body allowing the observer to sit down comfortably and enjoy the intricate rays of light flowing out of the cutouts of the column.⠀
