Automatons | STEAM kits
DIY STEM Automaton kits designed to engage children in educational, active play and introduce them to the concepts of motion transmission, gears, belts and shafts.
The kits were designed to be assembled and used by children ages 10 and up. Because of this, the laser cut, plywood pieces needed to be designed in a way that was easy but engaging to assemble.
Automatons are an entire category of sets. Each kit is built around the same, standard box, showing the versatility of the system within.
