Petsie | dog toothbrush
Petsie is an electric toothbrush for dogs that does not vibrate or make a sound, but instead uses low electric charge to remove plaque. The design was made with a lot of consideration of ergonomics and multi-material injection moulding.
The toothbrush is coupled with an app that allows for tracking of various pets and their hygiene routine. The main goal of the app is to time an track habits related to a dogs dental hygiene.
Development was done in cooperation with a veterinary dental clinic that tested the brush sizes on dogs of a large variety of breeds. This testing was also used to determine the most comfortable and effective position of the owners hand while brushing.
